Meet Dylan! This gorgeously fluffy blue merle boy is looking for a patient and loving forever home where he can grow up to achieve his full potential!

Dylan is adorable, spunky, feisty and playful. He loves his toys, playing tugs, and chewing on his chew toys! He loves to roughhouse with his foster family’s other doggies and would do great with doggie siblings in his forever home!

Dylan is still learning to love snuggles. He wasn’t used to them, but he’s getting accustomed to them through belly rubs and cuddles when he is sleepy. He does love soft beds and blankets! And he always wants to be where the action is. His consistently happy attitude when around his humans will make him a perfect companion dog.

Dylan’s foster family have been working on his manners with positive reinforcement training, consistency and patience. His new family will need to remain dedicated to his training, since he us strong willed and spirited! He is food motivated with high value treats! We do recommend a home without kiddos under 12 since Dylan is working on mouthiness.

Dylan is a 9-week-old Catahoula Leopard Dog/American Leopard Dog mix, with soft fur and stunning eyes. Due to his young age, potty and leash training are ongoing. He prefers not to be away from the action, but he is learning to accept it! His breed mix is known for their intelligence and challenging nature, so experience with these breeds is preferred.

He will need a family who are prepared to provide him with plenty of training, as well as mental and physical enrichment. His forever family should continue to socialise and love him so that he grows into a well-rounded adult.

Dylan is being fostered in San Antonio, TX and is adoptable throughout Texas and Northeastern states.
