Meet Frankie!

Meet Frankie, a 9.5-year-old, 7-pound Chihuahua /Pomeranian mix with a sweet snuggly side and a feisty little spark.

This adorable senior guy is full of character and charm—he loves to cuddle up with his people and happily tag along on car rides. Frankie’s favourite spot in his foster home is the fenced-in yard, where he can relax and sniff around on his terms.

Frankie is a classic "spicy chi," so he’ll thrive with experienced and understanding adopters who respect his boundaries. He’s incredibly affectionate but very sensitive—he can be triggered by things like having his feet touched, loud noises, or being picked up while he's sleeping. For his safety and comfort, Frankie wears a muzzle for vet visits, baths, and nail trims. He’s good with other dogs but has a dominant streak and will protect what he believes is his, so any doggy siblings should be chill and respectful of his space. He also tolerates cats well.

Frankie isn't potty trained and does have some special needs: he eats a limited diet to manage food and skin allergies, and has a history of seizures, though they’re infrequent.

Frankie needs a home with stable and committed adopters, who understand that he has a spicy side and will love him endlessly, quirks and all.

Frankie is currently in foster care in Round Rock, TX and is available for adoption in Texas and Northeastern states.
