Meet Honey!
Meet Honey, a beautiful Catahoula Leopard dog with boundless energy and love.
Honey is a wonderful girl who is looking for an active and loving forever family. She loves to go on runs and walks with her foster family. She is fabulous at riding in the car, and she is the best doggie foster sister to her canine siblings. She would be the perfect hiking buddy for a lucky family!
Honey is wonderfully smart and intuitive. She loves to train and learn commands. She would happily accompany her person/people to any place that they go to. She is excellent at ignoring the barks of other dogs, instead focussing on her humans. She would be a great candidate as an (energetic!) emotional support dog.
Honey is great with dogs of all sizes; she teaches her younger and smaller foster siblings how to play. She loves to play tug-of-war with her canine siblings, patiently bringing the toy back for more if she wins the contest! She really knows how to lower the roughness level of her play, depending on the needs of the other dog.
Honey is around 1 year old and weighs 70lbs. Her beautiful coat and wonderful personality make her the perfect companion dog. She is spayed and up to date on shots. She is house-trained and does well walking on the leash (but not perfect!).
Honey is looking for a forever home with a family who is home more than not. Her foster family has made fantastic progress on her separation anxiety, and we hope that her forever family will continue with this. She does well when crated when her family does have to go out, but she is best suited to a heavy duty crate.
