Meet Keke!
This little lady (10lbs) was saved from a hoarding situation so never got to meet people or experience the world. She was so scared, but has really blossomed in her foster home. She loves to sit with her foster mom and snuggle and can also be silly and entertaining as she plays with another little dog in the home and with her favorite toy. She is smart and curious; she figured out the doggy door in just a few days and now uses it like a champ. Best of all she isn’t needy or clingy and often chooses to sit in her favorite chair in another room while foster mom is busy. Just don’t expect to be able to do your yoga without some help from her!
Keke is just starting to explore going out the front door into the wide world. She’s still a little hesitant to go too far from the house, but gets a little more comfortable every time. With patience, letting her set her limits, and positive reinforcement she makes fast progress.
Keke is still working on house training but will go several days without an accident as long as her foster mom encourages her to go out to the yard regularly. She’s really close to being perfect. She loves her crate and dances with excitement when she sees the Peanut butter stuffed Kong come out.
Keke would love a home with another little dog to play with. She’s very chill most of the time, but definitely has her daily moments of wanting to play. Someone who lets her cuddle on the couch, and possibly the bed, is a must for this affectionate girl. She’s still a little shy with new people but give her a little space to feel comfortable and she’s your best friend.
Keke is just cuteness personified and is guaranteed to make you smile. Don’t you need more smiles in your life?
Keke is being fostered in Austin, TX. But can be transported for adoption in other areas of Texas or the North Eastern States.
