Meet Simba!

Simba is a sweet, one-year-old boy who is fully grown at 50 pounds. He’s a gentle soul with a heart of gold, and he loves the company of other dogs! While he’s still building his confidence on his own, Simba thrives when he’s around other pups. He’s the kind of dog who will follow another dog’s lead and enjoy every minute of it—whether that’s playing, lounging, or exploring.

Simba is an absolute joy to have around. He’s a playful pup with a gentle touch, and he’s every dog’s best friend. Whether he’s romping around in his foster home’s yard or enjoying some quiet time, Simba’s calm nature makes him easy to love. He’s incredibly smart and food motivated, which means he’s always eager to learn and make progress.

Simba is almost potty trained and sleeps through the night in a crate in his foster parents’ bedroom. He lives with 2 kiddos under 6 years old, and while he’s generally good with them, he does find their company to be a little intimidating, preferring to seek space away from their noise and antics. For this reason, we hope to find him a home with respectful kiddos over 8 years old.

Though he’s still working on his confidence, Simba’s making huge strides each day. With a little patience and plenty of love, Simba will be the perfect companion for an adopter that can provide him with the support he needs to continue growing.
