SPECIAL NEEDS

Meet Wish!

Meet Wish, a beautiful Special Needs Papillon mix who is looking for a loving forever home where she can spend the best years of her life!

Wish has Cerebellum trauma, which affects her movement. She often spins in circles, has tremors, or walks sideways. But this girl is everything that you could ever want in a dog! She is spunky, loving, fun, and full of zest for life. She’s a happy go lucky dog who likes being outside or cuddling with her humans.

Wish has been seen by a neurologist for the diagnosis and maintenance of her Cerebellum condition. There is no active medical care needed other than to keep her away from potential dangers such as water, stairs, since she is considered a fall risk. Her foster mom has a special “Wish-friendly” pen in her house for when she cannot directly supervise her. When supervised, Wish enjoys play time and cuddles both indoors and outdoors.

Wish is around 4 years old and weighs 8lbs. Her beautiful red coat is super soft, and her personality is supremely endearing. Wish cannot be potty trained due to her condition. She is used to having potty pads within her safe area, as well as using a doggie diaper if needed. She is fantastic in the car. She loves to be Passenger Princess in her puppy car seat.

Wish strongly prefers to be the only dog or cat in the home due to her condition. If she does have other companions in the home, her interactions would need to be closely supervised since her condition makes her movements unpredictable and she could get injured.

Wish is a sweet dog who loves time with her humans. We hope to find a patient and loving home where her humans have a good plan to keep her safe and happy. She loves getting pets and cuddling with her humans while watching tv. She is extremely sweet, and her adopters would get a cuddle bug and wonderful companion.

After a terrible start to life, Wish is looking for a safe and loving home in which she can spend her happiest years. If you have the space and time to give Wish a loving forever home, we’d love to hear from you!

Wish is being fostered in Round Rock, TX and is adoptable throughout Texas and Northeastern states.
